Karam Singh
Managing Director of Capella Advisory
Karam founder and Managing Director, developed an interest in finance and had always been intrigued by the different financial mechanism and strategies that would later lead him to become an adviser. He had seen his mother work multiple jobs to raise him and since then he developed a strong sense of care and responsibility in making decisions.
Karam has worked within financial services for over ten years and a business owner for the last five years. He is a goal setter and strives to set higher goals in both his personal and professional life.
He has a deep passion for running and you will often find him spending time with one of his multiple running groups. Karam finds running an enormous support and helps shape his mind and spirit to manage what his day has ahead. He has developed a passion for marathons and long distance running it gives him the headspace to crystallise his dreams, goals and ambitions.
He also took a change within his own advice business more broadly on how he could continue to grow and service the global family office market. His curiosity and courage kicked in and he realised he could also help solve this problem for other advisers looking for the same support needs.

He has a comprehensive knowledge of family wealth management from an investment, structuring, asset protection, and estate planning perspective. Meet Kim, a founder of Capella Advisory. His diverse experience across cities from Sydney, Indonesia to Oslo have equipped him with a broad understanding of global market trends and their impact on financial strategies.
Kim chose a career in advice because he saw the ability to help people be able to live without the constant worry about their finances. Being able to reduce the stress and relationship breakdowns that happen through lack of support and good advice. Providing clients with the feeling of financial security and making a positive impact is what drives him.
Kim possesses the ability to view situations from diverse angles. He firmly believes that simplifying financial jargon, educating consumers about scams and the characteristics of poor advice, and empowering Australians to recognise quality advice can significantly increase the uptake of financial advice. By expanding the range of advice delivery options, we can enhance accessibility and demonstrate the value of financial guidance, catering to clients’ preferred methods of receiving advice.
